Early Years
At Hebrew Primary School, our Early Years Education is grounded in the belief that children learn best through play. We provide a relaxed and joyful environment where each child can thrive. Following the Early Learning Goals, our educators continuously assess each child's progress to ensure they are supported in taking their next steps. Our curriculum is vibrant, holistic, and dynamic, revolving around the events of the Jewish Year. In Nursery, children are gently introduced to the Aleph Bet and the basics of phonics, with a strong focus on recognising their names. In Reception, children embark on learning to read and write in both Hebrew and English. We useĀ Keriah Neimah for Hebrew reading and Little Wandle for English, making learning an exciting journey through play. Our curriculum follows the seven key areas of learning in the Early Years:
-
Communication and Language
-
Physical Development
-
Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
-
Literacy
-
Mathematics
-
Understanding the World
-
Expressive Arts and Design
Through these areas, we ensure that our students receive a well-rounded, engaging, and developmentally appropriate education, setting a strong foundation for their future learning.
