Wellbeing
At our school, the wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of everything we do, because we truly believe that when children are happy, they thrive in their learning. We know that life can have its ups and downs, and not every day will be perfect, so we are dedicated to equipping our students with the tools they need to navigate challenges and manage their emotions. Our approach to wellbeing is multi-faceted and thoughtful. We are fortunate to have a school counsellor who is available weekly to provide personalised support, and we use the Zones of Regulation to help children understand and regulate their feelings. Our PSHE lessons are designed to focus on wellbeing, covering important topics like internet safety, personal safety, and anti-bullying in a way that is both engaging and meaningful. Through lively assemblies and a variety of activities, we aim to create an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to face whatever comes their way.
Clubs, differentiated and adapted learning, exciting activities and opportunities as well as good relationships with staff further enhance our desire to support our children’s wellbeing.
