SEND
At Hebrew Primary School, our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) policy is designed to create a happy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students, regardless of age, background, or ability. We are committed to removing barriers to learning and ensuring that every child feels secure and valued within our school community. We aim to ensure that all children have access to a suitable education that allows them to reach their personal potential and fulfil their aspirations. We prioritize the best interests of each child, offering tailored support and fostering confidence so that they can lead fulfilling lives. Our school maintains clear communication with parents and carers, involving them in decisions about their child’s support and progress. Teachers at Hebrew Primary School adapt both the Jewish Studies and National Curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our pupils, providing additional or different support as needed. This approach ensures that children with SEND are fully included in school life and are given the opportunities to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments in teaching, curriculum planning, and the school environment to support the inclusion of all pupils in every aspect of school life.
